Who is this course for?
Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and other licensed healthcare professionals in clinical practice, practice leadership, or practice ownership roles, at any career stage.
The course
Clinical training prepares you for patients. It does not prepare you for the employment agreement, the compensation model, the practice's balance sheet, or the compliance obligations that decide whether a clinical career is sustainable. This course covers that second half.
Format
On-demand video sessions with a written self-directed exercise after each one.
Length
11 modules, 30 sessions of 10 to 20 minutes
Launch
October 1, 2026
Planned price
$300
Who it is for
Physicians, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, registered nurses, and other licensed healthcare professionals in clinical practice, practice leadership, or practice ownership roles, at any career stage.
The content assumes you are clinically competent and financially under-informed, which is the normal result of a clinical education. It does not assume a specialty, a salary, or an employment model.
Curriculum
Ordered the way a clinical career actually happens, not the way a textbook is organized.
Accreditation status
This activity has been developed for continuing education review and is currently under an accreditation designation process. Until that review is complete, WealthRounds makes no claim about credit type, credit amount, or approval status, and nothing on this page should be read as one. When designation is granted, the full accreditation statement, learning objectives, faculty and planner disclosures, estimated completion time, release and expiration dates, and instructions for claiming credit will be published here before enrollment opens.
Commercial support: none. This activity receives no funding, sponsorship, or in-kind support from any company that produces, markets, or distributes healthcare products. No product is promoted in any session.
Faculty
Practicing cardiothoracic anesthesiologist. Duke-trained chief resident and cardiothoracic fellow. For five years the elected chair of a 30 to 35 physician anesthesiology group's executive committee, acting as its chief management officer through two corporate ownership structures, including a multi-month negotiation and formal arbitration with the group's private-equity owner.
The course is written and taught by a working clinician who has sat on the management side of the table, not by an advisor with a funnel.

No. This is educational content only. It teaches frameworks and vocabulary so you can work with your own licensed advisors, attorney, and accountant as an equal. It does not replace them, and it does not give individualized recommendations.
Accreditation designation is pending. Until that review is complete we make no claim about credit type, credit amount, or approval. If you are on the launch list, you will hear the outcome either way.
30 sessions of 10 to 20 minutes each, plus a short written exercise after every session. You can stop and restart anywhere - nothing is scheduled and nothing expires mid-module.
The planned price is $300 for the full course. Launch-list members hear about pricing before anyone else.
